After much fiddling with web proxies, VPNs and other assorted tricks to get around the censorship applied in the world’s most populated country, a way has been conceived to make this work.  I think.  So I’m going to disband the other blog and run with this one…

From the old one:

Trying to keep folks up to date on what’s going on with my trip is proving a bit difficult.  Notwithstanding the local authorities blocking access to social networks, trying to get pictures and thoughts and insights and jokes and stories and inspirations to individuals is a bit difficult to manage.  So if I build it, will they come?  We’ll see.

I’ve never done any blogging, so I’m sure the format will change a few times as I figure this out, but for now, this is what you get.  I’ve left it wide open for comments, so feel free to ask questions, post your own insights, etc.  And we’re off…  Right…. Now.
